It’s summer, and we’re in full swing here at SOTA headquarters. I have arrived back at the mothership to discover the most wonderful gift from the talented and generous cigar box guitar maker Mike Snowden: he has gifted us with a Razor cruiser. These are identical to the kid scooters, except for the big frame and big wheels that help provide the more mature daredevil the kind of smooth rides we haven’t felt since my brother and I tore up the driveways of the suburbs in the ’80s on our Big Wheels.
Working on songs today with Adam Z in L.A. as well as with Maria Marcus and Niclas Lundin in Sweden, thanks to the joys of the internet. Playing around with putting a simple whistle into songs. I love the idea that a melody can be accessible to everyone with a little air across your lips.
Here’s to summertime and bicycles and whistling and fun,
– The Architect in Chief
Great little song to make for a cheery drive home! It’s scientifically proven: you can’t have a bad time while you’re whistling!
Love it makes me want to walk!!! I know crazy
I love it! It has that “good feeling” to it! Where you could be in a bad mood, listen to this song, and feel like everything is okay in the world! You never seem to write a bad song Kristian!

My 7 yr old LOVES it! She’s dancing around the kitchen to it while getting ready for school. Get song to start the day to.
