On the Road: May 28, 2012

Spent Memorial Day with the great Will Jennings, writing melodies and words in Santa Barbara. He is one of our national songwriting treasures, and I am honored to share a room with him.

What you may not know is that the man who brought you “Higher Love,” “Up Where We Belong,” and a little ditty called “My Heart Will Go On” also has a collection of books and jazz to rival most libraries on earth.

He sent me on my way with a bottle of Beckmen Vineyards 2009 Cuvée Le Bec and a Dylan Thomas Omnibus for my travels. My hat is off to an amazing man who is an amazing writer.
