In the Studio: April 18, 2012

Working on some Southern rock today in the studio. Wrote with the amazing Travis Hill aka Scooter Carusoe yesterday and put on our best drive all night to Pensacola Beach / why do you need three guitar players in your band / double-lipper Copenhagen-infused / Bad Company guitar pedal / flip-flop sunburn / prettiest girl you have ever seen in your whole life love song. It really is amazing to me how much fun it is to play Skynyrd licks on a guitar. No wonder everyone learns them.

Not far into our recording I slipped on a production banana peel and started playing banjo. Tom Tapley told me it sounded like Wet Willie. I had no idea who that was. He then revoked my Alabama work visa until further notice. Now time for some Burnt Fork BBQ.

Until next time, friends…

Appreciating the time and effort you put into your blog and dlatieed information you present. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Fantastic read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
